Snow, Cold and Winds

As pitiful as this winter has been (January has been terrible), we still will manage a few inches of snow today due to an intense 500mb low over the OV, which will change things over to snow this evening if it hasn't changed already. Looks like I'm going to be one of the more conservative forecasts and go for 1-3" here, with the Lake helping those near Cleveland.

Not much, but it feels like it this winter. Real story will be the winds:
A fairly disappointing storm looks to be on track here in western Ohio, with a horrendous model verification at 48hrs (3-8" forecasted on NAM/GFS). Yesterday I was thinking 3-6", but when the models have this decisive of a trend, it's time to go with the flow. Blowing and drifting will be the real deal with this system, just a matter of how much snow there is to blow around.
