Blanchard River Level

As an update to TJ's post, the Blanchard River is expected to crest even higher, now only a foot from setting the all time record. The crest is also supposed to be slightly later, creating a nightmare for Findlay tomorrow morning. It's likely that Findlay Schools will be forced to close tomorrow, and many houses will be completely flooded. Here is the summary of what happens when the river hits 17.5 feet, which is the expected crest:

17.5Major flooding will occur in downtown Findlay. Flooding can be expected from Westerfield Drive to County Road 236 along the Blanchard River. Flooding can also be expected along Eagle and Lye Creeks between State Route 15 and the Blanchard River.

If anyone is in the Findlay Area tomorrow, please do not drive in any water, because you never know how deep the water is.
